Coast Road Talks

Michael Howard MP for Folkestone and Hythe had a meeting with local residents at Coast Road, St Mary’s Bay on Friday.

Tempers have been running high in the area over the dumping of rubble which has made it difficult for local residents to park their cars and walk their dogs.

Mr Howard was approached by local resident Bobbie Shaftain and he visited the scene to see the problem for himself.

Mr Howard said “I have made some suggestions to the Environmental Health Officer and the Parish Council in the hope that this problem can be resolved. The sooner action can be taken the better it will be for everyone.”
